As a part of Library Automation, data entries, cataloguing in LIBSYS software is going on to meet the demand from the users throughout the country and abroad for online access to the valuable collection of the library. Apart from the staff of the library, students of the Department of the Library and Information Science, Calcutta University have been engaged voluntarily for preparing worksheet of books, entering data in the LIBSYS package for full catalogue and for preparing database.
